GlanceDesk inside your AI assistant

The GlanceDesk AI connector lets an assistant such as Claude run our tested tools. Ask it about a salary tax, a loan or what you are owed when a job ends in the Gulf, and it works the answer out with our calculator, then shows you the formula, the official source and the date we last checked it.

What your assistant can do with it

All 42 GlanceDesk calculators and converters, and two GlanceDesk Jurisdiction checks, run through the connector, using the same tested code as our sites.

Every answer shows its working

The connector never guesses. If a value is missing or invalid, the tool says so in its own words, and the assistant should ask you.

  • The answer, with units and a one-line explanation
  • The formula or the legal rule behind it
  • The official sources, with links
  • The date the rules were last checked
  • A link to the tool's page, to check it yourself
  • A reminder: an estimate, not legal or tax advice; English is the reference version

Tax rules that have passed their validity date, such as an old tax year, are refused until we update them.

How to add it

Claude (web, desktop and mobile)

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors.
  2. Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it GlanceDesk and paste the URL https://glancedesk.com/mcp, then choose Continue.
  4. Under Authentication choose No sign in, then Add.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it under Organization settings > Connectors. Steps from Claude's help page, Getting started with custom connectors.

Claude Code and other MCP clients

In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http glancedesk https://glancedesk.com/mcp

In any other client that supports remote MCP servers, add a server with the URL https://glancedesk.com/mcp (transport: Streamable HTTP). No key or sign-in is needed.

What happens to what you send

On our sites, the maths runs in your browser. Through the connector, your assistant sends the values for one calculation to glancedesk.com, where our tool works out the answer on Cloudflare's servers and sends it back. The values are used only for that answer and then discarded: we do not log them, store them, or use them for anything else. There are no accounts, no cookies and no tracking.

Our host, Cloudflare, processes connection details such as your IP address to deliver and protect the service, as described on our Privacy page. Your conversation itself is handled by your AI assistant's provider under its own privacy policy.

The connector is public and read-only. Requests over 64 KB are refused.
